Anyone who knows me will be fully aware of how much I love chocolate. Here I have captured 41 types of chocolate bar / brand (or alluded to them through their slogan), starting with my all-time favourite –
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk (preferably a supersize bar).

See if you can find the other 40!!

The Best of the Bars 💜

Smooth and creamy, made with a glass and a half, gone is the angular, chunky design; the pieces are now curved, smooth, voluptuous. Shiny purple wrappers guarantee the sublime. Mixing with raisins and hazelnuts leads to madness, rendering everyone a fruit and nutcase.

Those who advocate chocolate in the bath have not considered the mess that only the crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate will make... surely something that melts in your mouth, not in your hand would be more practical? We are given permission to relax, take it easy, take a break, treat ourselves to silk rather than cotton bedding - ideally in shades of green and black; then melt away, whisper sweet nothings and dream - that’s if you do dream in chocolate.

Sadly there is not always time to lie in the bath and feel the bubbles. Sometimes there is barely even time to eat, to feed your inner diva; but you must find time, or others may Snicker at your erratic behaviour.

To share or not to share, that is the question... the Ambassador’s generosity is evident to all with his proud and mighty tower of golden balls. And the blonde boy in white declares with glee (showing exemplary sharing), “The Milky Bars are on me!”. Which is just as well, as frankly, a finger of Fudge is not nearly enough to give your kids a treat. We are encouraged to say thank you with roses, but we’re being led astray...though some prefer flowers, the lady loves Milk Tray.

Others are less charitable where chocolate is concerned:
a) The trucker, gruffly mandating that ‘Yorkies not for girls’ as he chomps on his beast of a bar.
b) Did anyone ever really love anyone enough to give them their last Rolo?
c) And that perfect sphere of a Chocolate Orange, segmented ready for sharing? No chance.... it’s not Terry's, it's mine!

For now, I realise that life’s no picnic, and the road ahead may be rocky, but thank Crunchie it’s Friday and it’s after eight, so let’s breakaway, take some time out and boost our calories. We can add coconut for the bountiful taste of paradise; or pink jelly for Eastern promise. Then let’s catch a double decker, pick a topic and chat, go out for a twirl; who knows...maybe even make some ripples and whip our walnuts?

To conclude, and check you have been paying attention to the adverts:

QU:   What planet in the Milky Way provides the answer to this...
'A ???? a day helps you work, rest and play?'
A:      Only Smarties have the answer!
